Overview
Dr. Mary Johnson is the Associate Chief Information Officer for IT Services at the University of North Georgia, a role she joined in 2026 after 17 years at Brenau University in instructional technology, faculty development, and institutional effectiveness. In her current role, she is focused on bridging the gap between people and technology within IT Services. At Brenau, she spent years guiding faculty, staff, and students through significant shifts in academic technology, an experience that continues to shape her approach to leading people through change. She holds a DBA in Leadership from Liberty University and previously taught business and leadership courses at the university level.
