Overview
Joseph Schairer is a mixed media sculptor and welder from the state of Connecticut. He received his B.S. in Studio Art with a concentration in Sculpture from Southern Connecticut State University in 2019, and his M.F.A in Sculpture from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2022. His work centers around the exploration of negative space, and how things that are absent can be just as important, if not more important, than the things that are present.
